“Making Sense of Paramedicine”

ParamediSense Making Sense of Paramedicine Paramedic Remediation, Prep, and CE courses

Providing Paramedic NREMT Remediation, Preparatory Refresher, and Continuing Education Courses.

ParamediSense was created to provide Paramedics an opportunity to learn and solidify their knowledge of Paramedicine by making sense of the content. Our goal is to provide superior education to future and current Paramedics.

As practicing Paramedics, we recognize that the Paramedic curriculum and the job itself, is not easy. We also understand that the human brain stores information more efficiently when meaningful connections are created.

Our goal is to minimize pure memorization and maximize complete understanding of the content. We also take pride in coaching students on effective studying habits and test taking strategy.

We passionately believe that our students will become better Paramedics by providing safe, thoughtful, compassionate, and life-saving care.

Testimonial Excerpts

“After my fourth attempt, using a multitude of “remediation, refresher, and study” courses, I had almost given up hope. I met up with John, and he was able to teach me in a way that was both highly engaging and extremely helpful.”

Dan F.

“His dedication to his students is truly incredible and unlike anything I’ve seen before. If you are ready to learn and willing to put in the necessary work, John is a great teacher that will do everything in his power to ensure you succeed.”

-Aubryn C.

“What set him apart was his ability to truly meet students where they were. No matter how complex the topic, he had a way of breaking things down into understandable pieces, while also being more than willing to dive deeper whenever we wanted a more in-depth explanation.”

Baith A.

“Thanks to his teaching, format, and organization, I have never felt more prepared and confident to take on anything in life, especially the NREMT. He is the type of instructor who instantly makes you feel connected, like family. I left his course with the knowledge that will last me a lifetime.”

Dalton W. FP-C, CCP-C, NREMT-P

“I exhausted my attempts at the NREMT Paramedic exam and was feeling stuck, with a lot of self-doubt after being unsuccessful. After going through John’s Paramedic program, I passed shortly after graduating. What sets him apart is how he teaches—he focuses on helping you understand why things are happening in the body. He also has a unique ability to believe in you, even when you’re doubting yourself, and push you to the finish line.”

Ryan L.

“I feel like I not only understood paramedicine but understood the field as a result of his course. It didn't feel like I was just showing up to a class, it felt like I was immersed every single day; there was always an interesting case or funny story behind each piece of knowledge he instilled.”

Sammy K.

“ John has visible passion for teaching and will work with any student, no matter what their learning style is. Paramedic school is not an easy course and John has an ability to break down difficult subjects and make them more relatable and memorable.  John’s intellect is second to none and his ability to convey that knowledge resonates with any student he works with. Without a doubt, John has been one of the most influential and supportive people in my fire service career and he continues to be so.”

Tyler N. “Tony-O”

His emphasis on understanding the material rather than just memorizing it helped me finally pass the NREMT exam. I would 100% recommend John to anyone who is trying to pass the NREMT, to get ahead during the Paramedic Program, or to just refine your knowledge as a paramedic provider.”
